Family and friends of loved ones who have lost their lives to overdose or suicide were invited to place a ribbon on the tree in their memory.  There were 26 purple (representing overdose) and 36 yellow (representing suicide) ribbons placed on the tree in remembrance of loved ones.  A Tree Lighting Ceremony was held on August 21 with Pastor Tammy Craker giving a short gracious speech about grief.
