Sheridan County Behavioral Health Coalition
Promoting individual, family, and community behavioral health awareness and wellness.
Who can be a part of the coalition?
Anyone. Everyone. Your voice, your involvement can make a difference in our communities.
Organizations/ Community Partners - behavioral health advocates, providers of adult and child
behavioral health services, healthcare service providers, human service providers, emergency responders, law
enforcement, local government officials, school representatives, and more.
Individuals with Lived Experience - having sought or received services for mental illness
and/or substance use disorder, or their immediate family members.
What to expect at a meeting
Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
See presentations featuring resources and services, and hear reports from Community Partners,
information about new/ changed resources, updates on current and upcoming activities.
Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 12:00 noon, via Zoom
(also in-person at Sheridan County Courthouse Jubilee Room April to November)

What does the coalition do?
Identify and educate the public about behavioral health resources.
Collaborate and partner with local service providers and community partners.
Engage Sheridan Country communities in addressing mental/ behavioral health issues.
Advocate for resolution of unmet behavioral health needs in Sheridan County.
Assist in strengthening behavioral health services in Sheridan County.
The coalition is neither a support group, nor a service provider. The coalition strives to assist with
and support efforts to connect those who have services with those who need those services.
Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month, 12:00 noon, via Zoom,
and In-person (April-Nov) at Sheridan County Courthouse Jubilee Room, downstairs from the Library.
